The Mandarin Spawn Project - Color scheme chosen... thoughts? [UPDATED pics]

Ok... after much deliberation in my head, I decided on a color scheme for this project... and no, I'm not done building it, but I wanted to get the scheme decided so I could go right into painting it when complete. So I painted the shield today (well... repainted it... I had started it in a different scheme) to get the idea of how it will look all together.

The shield still needs some touching up, but this is going to be the overall scheme... Black, Dark Silver, Light Silver, with Dark purple, Dark metallic blue, Light Metallic Blue and Metallic Purple accents.

What do you think?? Keep in mind the silver/black will be more dominant, with the blues and purples as accent colors... think it's cool? I'm liking it... just not sure if it's not "badass" enough...

Thanks peeks... but I'm not sure I totally can take the opinion of a guy who sometimes wears dresses as to what's "too fruity." [img]wink.gif[/img] hehe...

Yeah, the figure itself will be way more black and silver. The shield looks busy, yes... but it is in detail for sure. The actual figure will not be as busy... the shield is more ornamental.
